My friend and I were running on a Friday night. We were headed for a short trail but had to pass through 4 blocks of a residential area. This area is packed with drunk party goers on Friday and Saturday nights, and these people just wander around in the street. Normally we avoid this area, but there were road closures on other streets.

So we're running along and some guy, in jeans and some kind of button-up shirt, starts running beside us. I figured that this asshole would go away in a block or two but a plan formed in my head.

I started yelling at the guy in the middle of the street as we ran. Stuff like, "hey man are you down? Are you psyched? It's the long run tonight, 9 miles to go! You in it for the long haul??" And this guy went along with it and was all, "yeah, I'm psyched! Let's do this!" (Something like that, this happened two years ago).

After about a block, he was out of breath and turned around to head back to his friends. I should add at this point that my friend and I are both male and that I'm fairly tall. People don't usually fuck with me in the street. So naturally, when the guy turned around to go back this his group of friends on the sidewalk, my friend and I followed him about half way back, screaming all the while that he was a pussy who couldn't run a block.

His friends looked embarrassed (quite a feat, because they all looked wasted) and I hope this asshole was too.
