Two things come to mind:

• 1# Woke up randomly in the middle of the night when I was about 13. Felt like I was being watched. Looked towards the door that was slightly open, light on in the hallway. Saw a black cat in the doorway, just staring at me with its yellow eyes. Suddenly it ran away. I couldnt find it again. Freaked me the fuck out. (Next morning when I mentioned it to my dad he told me his new girlfriend had a cat that was staying with him atm, he just hadnt thought to mention it to me)

• 2# Slightly related to #1. Woke up to the sound of someone clawing at my bedroom door. My dads girlfriend rips the door open. Shes drunk, stumbling, make up in tears down her face, and blood all over her hands. She came up to my bed and shouted "wheres the phone in here, I need a fuclking taxi!". My dad came in and yanked her out of the room. I mustve fallen asleep again because I woke the next day thinking Id had a fucked up nightmare. But when I walked into the livingroom I found my dad with the back of his bald head completely clawed to shit, covered in blood. Apparently they had broken up and she wasnt happy with it
