Things are stagnant at the moment, and I'm more of a bystander than a participant but...

Basically: Uncle (mom's brother) is shitty, manipulates grand parents. He deals drugs, steal electricity, very probably cheats on and abuses his wife, who has some serious mental problems.

Uncle once electrocuted his dumbass trying to tap into a transformer on a power line. His story was that he was flying a kite with a copper string and it got tangled in the cords, grand parents and aunt #1 (not uncle's wife) believe him. Uncle and friends drag my cousin into the lie. He goes along with it because he's not the brightest (has developmental problems).

Uncle has druggie girlfriend (not his wife) living in his garage, let's call her "hoe". He made his wife live in a fifth wheel out back and she just kind of rots back there (both mentally and physically). Hoe is disgusting and takes advantage of my grandparents who are both 80+.

One day, the police are called to take uncle's wife to get some help. Uncle's wife locks herself in her car and Uncle locks himself in his house. It's night time, uncle has guns, police decide to leave and come back the next morning to minimize risk of something bad happening. Police never return to take his wife.

Later, he catches my mom while she's leaving our grandparents house. He starts getting in his face and cussing and stuff. Mom pushes Uncle back because he smells bad and is disgusting general. Uncle and Mom start Brawling. Grandparents and Aunt #2 (is cool) come out to see what's happening and immediately Uncle stops fighting and starts acting hurt and says Mom attacked him without provocation.

He starts going on about everybody trying to lock his wife up (not true, she needs professional help). Aunt #2 admits to calling police. Uncle grabs Aunt #2 and starts shaking her. Uncle is 40ish, Aunt #2 is in her 60s. My mom chases him back into his house and he locks himself in.

Another day, uncle's wife runs out to the neighbors (not related to us). She's screaming to call the cops because Uncle is beating her. Lol is come. It takes them some hours to catch him. He's fighting with the cops and saying things like "I'll fucking kill you pig's!" "I'll fucking kill all of you when I get out!" Blah blah. Meanwhile my old as shit grandfather, who is extremely generous and trusting to a fault , has hobbled out to see what the commotion is and is begging his son to stop resisting and that he's making things worse for himself. Uncle gets out the next day and never has a court date. Guess who he asks to come pick him up at jail downtown and hour away from where they all live. My grandpa and grandma.

So far nothing of real note has happened since. Uncle did steal my mom's old, broken computer that she had in her storage shed. I dorn know why, he's an idiot. Police haven't done anything and I doubt they ever will.
