What's some popular saying that you think is total bullshit?

Unfortunately you can't always afford to wait for said people to show up, and you can't always be yourself to find the people you want to be with or where you live or work does not have those people, so you end up being alone, or worse, attract the wrong kind of attention, sometimes the people your own personality attracts are those of people you dislike or do not wish to be with.

It's also kinda selfish to think one should never make any sort of sacrifice or try to accommodate to the environment and people he is with on a daily basis, and hope people just accommodate to who you are.

I'm not saying you should completely change who you are or be someone you hate to be, but thinking you can just be your true self 100% of the time and everything will be fine is fairy tale thinking unless you're rich, really good looking, or have good connections, in which case personality won't matter, people will accomodate to who you are at that point to try and get in your good side.

Now I canna break down your post a bit if you don't mind.

So you think that the point of a personality is for it to conform to your peers' approval?

Sometimes, why is that so bad? why does everyone hate to "conform" all time time? If it makes your friends happy, and thus makes you happy, why not?

What do you think their personalities are like, and why do you consider yourself without the right to continue being yourself, while taking it as a given right on their part?

Why are you assuming that they are not changing THEIR personalities to make sure to get along with you as well?

That's a pretty conceited way of thinking you got so far "Only I matter, only my personality matters, I shouldn't try to make others happy, others should make me happy without me putting any effort, THEY should change to make me happy, I shouldn't"
