What's something that seems worth buying, but really isn't?

No, but plenty about the owners though. They sold their business to their son. It had been in the family since it started decades ago. Except they lied to him and only sold a quarter of it to him. That information came out as they had to file for bankruptcy. They owed a crap ton of money to the IRS and wholesale florists in our town. So much that every wholesaler cut ties with them. The father/owner was an alcoholic and a bully. On two occasions he picked up flowers out of the water bucket and put them in my face and shook them. I was in college and didn't know how the heck to stand up for myself. If that happened to me today, I would lose my mind on him. It's been a hot mess for them.
