You can do almost anything, contact almost anyone, buy what you want, watch what you want, listen to whatever you want, order food if you want to, plan your travels, buy tickets, explore the world via a GPS/satellite map system. You can learn almost anything for free via forums, YouTube, and other tutorials.

Every choice you want to make, you can check what other people think of it before you make it. The ignorant people, the elitists, the salty trash-talkers, the intelligent people who list all the pros/cons.

It really maximizes your potential to have the internet around. Some people I know don't use the internet because they don't want to or don't know how, and they resort to old outdated or really crappy methods to do simple tasks that you can just do in a few clicks online.
