What's a story you want to tell but can't find a excuse to tell it?

When I was in vocational school, I lived with a roommate. We had our own rooms with doors we can lock. Living room, kitchen and bathroom were shared space. I liked to keep my room locked, I was extremely shy and just didn't like to really interact with him. In fact I didn't speak to him even once during my stay there, nothing happened, I just liked to be alone.

One hot summer night I woke up at middle of the night and went to use the bathroom. I had my door locked as always, and I opened it, but just this one time when I went out I didn't remember to put the flip down so it wouldn't lock when closed, I think I was just too sleepy.

Because it was hot we had window open in the kitchen, and I also had a window open in my room, this obviously created a draft and the door just slammed down behind me. And there I was, locked out of my room in my apartment in the middle of the night and only thing I had on was my t-shirt that I put on in case my roommate came in, no underwear at all. He was out at the moment, his shoes weren't by the front door, and thank god for that because I really didn't have the social skills to handle a situation where I had lived with someone for over a year and first thing I talk to him about was letting me use his phone because I locked myself out with nothing but a shirt on.

I had a "mild" panic attack, trying to figure out what the fuck am I gonna do. I tried to find something thin to pick the lock, but how the hell do I know how to do that? So I did the only thing I could, I just rammed the door as hard as I could, and the wooden lock area broke down and I got in. Next day I skipped school, bought clear tape and just taped the whole thing so the door would work properly, and it somehow came together nicely.

The whole wall and door were white, so the clear tape melded in pretty nicely. I never called it in or anything. When I was moving out when my school ended, my dad was helping me move and I was so nervous he'd see the broken lock, but he never did despite it being in plain sight, the tape did its job. I have no idea if anyone ever found out, at least we didn't get a call about it or anything.
