What's a story you're dying to tell that hasn't fit into an AskReddit thread?

I was one of the first batch of Geek Squad agents hired by Best Buy to do in home service calls. I had the highest hourly rate in the store for pay and made decent money (and got to drive the car home an hour away). I got to the point where I was doing more recalls (follow up appointments for other agents that screwed up) and wasn't making the store money. I saw the writing on the wall when they were hiring bright eyed kids to make half of what I was and they were selling trunk space to vendors for us to pawn. I was doing small to medium business calls and loved my job. Until they started hiring people cheap. Then it was "go send the older guy". To put it in perspective. Geek Squad agents when I left were in the thousands for badge numbers. I had a low 400 number and saw the entire thing go from make customers happy to upsell things people don't need. I left, but kept the badge. Trust me when I say when they launched it nationwide they hired great talent and paid very well for it. Then of course retail principles killed the trust.
