What's THAT thing that you once said or did, that you still cringe at to this day?

Rapid fire cringe. You guys ready?

Found out where my crush's house was from watching her get off the school bus. Rode my bike to her house and let the air out of my own tires. Figured maybe she'd come out and I say my bikes tires were flat and that she'd hang out with me.

Father's Day. Dads at work. I hang out with girlfriends family. Dad calls. He's off early. I say "oh great! Wutchya gonna do?" He's silent for a second and says he's gonna just drive around. I stay at girlfriend's house oblivious to my assholery. It was my dad's first Father's Day after his own dad had died. He didn't speak to me for two days.

Class trip in high school. Cute girl is super flirty with me. She hugs me. I look at her and jokingly say "I have a boner."

Freshman in high school. Art class. Cute girl next to me says "UGGGHH my sketch looks like poop." I lean over and say "actually poop is brown." She looks at me and says "shut up." Another girl says "you know, you don't have to comment on EVERYTHING."

Middle school. I'm a new kid but I'm sitting with the popular kids. They literally ignore me, but I sit with them anyway. One kid is lamenting about how his girlfriend broke up with him. His friend says "dude there are way more fish in the sea" I lean in and say "yeah but they're all sharks!" They stare at me and leave without saying a word.

Middle school. Got new glasses. In math class. The most popular, most beautiful girl in school comes in, looks at me, smiles and says "new glasses? They look nice!" I'm petrified. How do I respond? "I know. That's why I got them."

Well that was fun reminiscing. I swear I'm not cringey anymore.
