Worked a shit job and had manager in charge who was terrible at conflict resolution— essentially stirred the pot on a situation between myself and a female coworker. Within earshot of this lazy fuck on his phone all the while she laying into me, she tops it off with “you should kill yourself, everyone can’t stand you here.” I was not in a great headspace anyway after watching multiple influences of mine killing themselves off in almost droves. I brought up the situation multiple times to all management and nothing ever addressed. Job shut down a few months later leaving me high and dry, hell, I’m still picking up the pieces and am behind the eight-ball after the layoff.
