What's up with the USPS logistics?

I've done significantly more shipping and receiving in the last week or two than the past 4 months.

I shipped a First Class Parcel AZ to Michigan, and it took a ride ofd through the streets of Vegas before being forwarded onwards to Wisconsin to Michigan. I like to think it eloped with some PriorityMail Express Envelopes or something.

I'm still waiting, however, on a PriorityMail std flat rate piece from San Francisco, which has been gallivanting through Massachusetts and Jersey City, only to head back to KPHX, West Coast, 5 days later.

I'm learning patience is the most valuable trait in a public postage recipient. I'm having to accept that my packages have a more interesting life than I do myself.

The fifteen+ pieces of mail I've sent/received from my residence/PO in the past week have altogether traveled more than 10,000 miles. Pretty incredible to think about, but massively frustrating when no power is in your hands.

Cali been strange lately. About half have left the Southwest Region entirely, headed East, then doubled back, no lie
