What's way more dangerous than most people think?

During January I found out I had MRSA. I was 19 and really scared, I truly thought I was going to die from this superbug. Thankfully I was reassured by the Infectious and Disease specialist that I would be fine considering im a healthy adult. I ran through the first course of antibiotics. I took Trimethoprim / Sulfamethoxazole also known as bactrim and found that the infection reappeared after I took the pills. I then was prescribed Linezolid which MRSA has shown no resistance too and found that my infection had gone away for now. It's been about 5 months now with no infection so I really hope I'm in the clear. So yes this resistant bacteria is scary and sooner or later these medications will not work anymore.
