What's a weight loss technique that has worked for you?

Because to be honest, I'm sick and tired of all these 'LOSE WEIGHT IN 2 WEEKS WITH NO DIET AND EXERCISE' bullshit and others.

You should be, because they are all scams.

I'd like to know what made it work for you to lose weight?

Counting calories and consuming less than my maintenance amount of calories. There is no other trick to weightloss.

Do let me know if there's some advice that could help me lose some weight.

This is going to sound sarcastic, but consume fewer calories than you burn.

(Also the gyms are closed where I live, so that's an option)

Exercise tends to not be a good weightloss technique. Your body will try to compensate for the energy burned by making you hungry. Studies have shown that the average weightloss from exercise is about 5 pounds. It's good to get in shape on it's own, but don't expect weight reduction from it.
