It's funny, she actually used the R-word to describe her approach, though obviously we were friends and had a rapport and I didn't actually see it that way.

I considered it my own fault; when she made her move on me, I was a little sauced myself and all "oh okay this got interesting" at first, but when I went to my car to make sure I had did in fact have condoms, I realized that it was probably a bad idea but felt like abruptly saying no after priming her for it would cause the very drama I sought to avoid. It wasn't fun but it wasn't a traumatic experience, and now I reflexively slam the brakes on any attempt by anyone to make sudden surprise moves on me to avoid letting myself get in such a bind again.
