Most bizarre dream I’ve ever dreamt so far, I wrote it down because it was incredibly bizarre. I don’t even like to watch/read zombie apocalypse:

I dreamt I was in an apocalypse hiding with my family. A virus outbreak was turning humans into giant hybrid monster rats(??). I could see the silhouette of the turned humans behind closed doors. The scene changes and I am with a group of survivors having bbq outside a penthouse with my family. We were all having a mini celebration when suddenly, one of the survivors went on a drunken rampage and started slashing everyone near him. Most of us quickly ran inside to the penthouse, but there were still others remaining outside. My mother shouted at me to lock the door and I comply. An old lady who was the closest from the door got stab through her chest by the madman. Once the man calm down and came back from his senses, we had a discussion on what to do with him. Some of us voted for him to leave, while others like my mother voted for him to stay. The reason my mom wanted him to stay was because he was an exMMA fighter, he has brute strength and skill to survive so he’ll be useful to us. I came to a realisation how my mother has change from someone caring to someone I don’t recognise anymore.

The scene change again and I’m patrolling inside a building with another survivor. While patrolling, we were discussing about meeting another group of survivors who invited us to a place called “paradise” when we suddenly heard some rustling outside behind the back door. We stopped and opened it only to be attack by another group of survivors whom we manage to fend off and escape. While running away from the building, we heard a loud explosion and turn around to the see it engulf in flames. We realise that someone had set up bombs around the building for it to explode, and it looks like no one else beside us had survived.

We ran until we came across the group of survivors whom we have discussed before, who had invited us to “paradise”. The elderly man, the leader, spoke to us and praise us for surviving this far and says that we should all leave now for a new place. A large door suddenly appear behind him. Bright light can be seen shining through its gap as it slowly opens. The light initially blinded us but once we got used to it’s brightness, we realise that the place inside the door was a beautiful landscape field. The area look far different from our own world where everything is old, greyed and in ruins. We left with the group to start afresh as we have nothing left of importance in the old world.
