What's with AITA and hating autistic people??

Here’s a list of some people all on the autism spectrum that I know, I gave them made up names but it’s to give an idea of how different it can be:

  1. Charles, early 20s. Optimistic and kind, but strict about rules, has many tics and quirks. Bounces out of bed in the morning. Intelligent but can only focus on what he finds fun. Popular. Thinks nobody notices something is different about him. (They do.)

  2. Samira, early 20s. Emotionally unstable prior to therapy, gets too attached to people, TV series, everything really. Impulsive. Loves music. Has zero shame, will walk up to anyone and strike up a conversation. Extremely intense eye contact.

  3. Billy, in his 30s. Forgets to put clothes on. Has walked out into public living rooms naked. Only talks about his special interests. Always happy and cheerful. Has no idea how society works and doesn’t really care. Tries to kiss people, men and women alike, even if they are complete strangers or very old. He doesn’t get why it’s considered inappropriate. Rings my doorbell sometimes at night to say hi. Luckily he has worn underwear each time so far.

  4. Regina, mid 20s. Extremely intelligent but held back by depression, was supposed to become an engineer. Rude, cold, speaks harshly, knows most social rules but just doesn’t care. Looks feminine but acts and talks like a man. Can’t (or won’t? Who knows) do chores.

  5. Dave, mid 20s. On his way to finish his education to become an engineer. Socially awkward but friendly. Nerdy and shy. Has an odd sense of humor. Functional, lives by himself.
