What's the WORST advice you can give that sounds not so bad?

Those bullies that never got called on their shit grow up and make their way into the work place and its absolutely toxic when the kid that never protects himself also grows up to work in the same office.

I worked in a small office with 4 other dudes. One dude was the perfect example of a 37 year old man child school yard bully. One was a late 30s big dude you wouldn't want to mess with but was literally as harmless as a kitten. He could be at the hospital with a broken leg and if you called, he'd feel terrible not being able to help. Ass hat dude was so incredibly obnoxious that as I escorted a customer to another room (someone I literally met maybe 2 min prior) felt the need to tell me...asshats coworker...how big of an ass he was. Asshat had a weakness...standing up to him, playing his game. I told the guy just snap back at him, tell him to "fuck off" if you have to. But don't...ever..show that you're mad. Just roll it off as though he doesn't matter.

Back in the room the guy picks up and asks if my customer was smart enough to figure out the paperwork, and the guy just looked at him and asked "do you even know me" wasn't Clint Eastwood worthy or even particularly stern but the dude just embarrassed laughted for a min then went to work without saying much anything else.
