A girl I had known since high school and later reconnected with 10 years later showed interest in me so I decided why not give it a shot, see how it goes, and if anything, work it into a occasional hook up. I pick her up and take her out to sushi for dinner. The conversation is going quite well till she starts to tell me about her recent divorce. Highlights of the marriage:
After this perfect story to tell on a 1st date, she tells me that she has a cyst on her bladder which puts pressure on it and causes her to pee. She went to the bathroom 4 different times after this factoid. Once she was gone for almost 10 minutes and when she comes back, she lets me know that Paul called her and asked who she's at sushi with. Since we had mutual friends, I felt like it would be too much of a dick to just get up and leave. We finish dinner, I pay for everything (Greek macho pride, can't let a woman pay on the 1st few dates), and leave to go to a bar that we are meeting her friends. We stop so she can get cigarettes on the way there and then proceed towards the bar. On the way there, a black SUV is tailgating the shit out of me but I keep driving knowing that it must be Paul. I pull into the bar parking lot and he proceeds to "block" me off. This must be the worst cop ever cause blocking me off meant i could have reversed 5 feet and sped away but I didn't care to flee....
He comes up to the window which I had rolled down to speak with him. He starts ranting and raving for her to get out of the fucking car. I look at her and she gives me a look to say "protect me." I shrug my shoulders and say "do what you want." I could care less at this point and I seriously am trying not to laugh. He then wants to show his authority that he is an alpha male and tells me to cooperate and let his girlfriend out of the car so he can get back to work (which is another town, mind you). He also tells me that I should know that he can make my life hell if I don't "leave right now and delete her off facebook!" OHHHHHHHH NO HE DIDN'T! He can't tell me who to be friend's with on facebook! This was a line that he crossed! Of course I just said ok and left, laughing to myself that I have a great story to tell...
I get home and get a call from a random number. I pick up and it's one of her friend's telling me that she heard what happened. She wanted to pass along a message from her that she still would like to go out on another date with me and she is so sorry for what happened. I said thanks but no thanks. Fast forward a year and I get a message on FB from her telling me that she picked the wrong guy that night and he is a horrible baby daddy... BABY DADDY??? Yes, she got preggos and he left her and went back with the wife! She was also asking for my number and to go out for drinks! Obviously I declined the comment from the psycho girl.
