This one was entirely self induced but I decided to eat 2 grams of shrooms before watching one of those creepy Top 15 paranormal compilations on youtube. Why? Because I had grown bored of horror movies and wanted to FEEL them again. I was 18 at the time.

As soon as the shrooms kicked in I pulled up one of those compilations and on the title screen was an image of an old hag with black eyes and a mouth gaping wide open. She seemed to take on an animation of her own, her mouth gaping ever wider spilling out a black mist that seemed to fall out of the Tv screen.

I only got about 5 mins into the compilation before I could hear footsteps up stairs, stuff moving around in the room next to me, scratching sounds in the walls, and at one point when it all stopped I could hear a guttural growl from behind my door. I was home alone besides my dog who was with me at the time.

So I had succeeded in freaking myself the fuck out and quickly had to leave the room, turn on some music and eat some dessert while I played with my dog. I managed to calm down but for the rest of the trip it felt like there was something invisible following me around the house.

That is an experiment I never plan on repeating.
