Once I was stranded out in the middle of the woods, sockless, only wearing a t-shirt and boxers. I was in the scouts, about like 16 or so and I slept walked out my tent. Once moment I am falling asleep on my cot. The next moment it is absolutely pitch black, so much so that I can't even see my hands in front of my face. I feel wet ferns between my feet and I don't have any idea where my sleeping bag went. So blindly I scream out for help and inch forward, until I eventually find a tree.

I scream for help for what feels like a long time, and eventually I resign to the idea that help isn't coming. So I huddle down underneath this tree, since ferns don't cover the area immediately around it. It's summer, but it is wet and still cold so I take my T-shirt and use it to cover my knees.
