What's the worst punishment you ever received as a child?

There was a period of time when I was 7 or 8 during which we had family over and staying in my room, so I had to sleep with my mom. I was small and her bed was Queen sized, so ideally we could share without being too uncomfortable. Problem was, I apparently had a bad habit of tossing and turning while trying to fall asleep that drove my mom mad. At some point during the night she had enough of it and kicked me out of bed.

Tired, groggy little me didn't get what was going on at first, so I tried to crawl back in only for her to push me out again. Realizing she wasn't going to let me sleep there for the night, I moved to sleep in the living room couch when she stopped me, and told me that as a punishment for "keeping her up" I had to stand by the bedside all night.

At first I didn't believe that she could be serious, so I waited a bit for her to fall asleep and tried to crawl out of the room, only for her to immediately notice and drag me back inside. Then I waited for a bit longer and tried to at least sit down, and she woke up to force me back on my feet.

I must've been like that for something like six or seven hours before the sun rose and my mom let me go, by which point my legs hurt like hell I was deliriously sleepy. You can bet your ass I fell like a log when it was time to sleep the following night.
