Last Christmas I was living in a house share with 4 other girls, one of which I started hanging out with in my room on a daily basis, chilling in bed, watching films etc ( bear in mind I was a lot more nervous back then than what I am now).
I had a mad crush on her at the time and one night at about 11pm she knocks on my door, walks in in just her bra and panties & asks me if it's alright if she chills, followed up by the comment that I hope she doesn't mind that she's just in her underwear as she's seen me in mine plenty of times before (this should have been a sign to my innocent brain that a potential play was on the cards).
Naturally, I oblige so we whack on Hachi : A Dog's Tale (a natural tearjerker), after a little while shit gets emotional and she starts cuddling me, que a full on hard-on from me after about 20 minutes which she notices and subtly start's making hints such as prodding & constant eye contact between me & the wee fella downstairs.
Me being the oblivious, awkward guy at the time I just laugh it off and even apologise about aforementioned wood, we both just laugh it off & continue to watch three fucking movies (Hachi, Silver Linings Playbook & A Cabin In The Woods).
The film session comes to & end & we genuinely had a space of being face to face under the sheets for about 2 minutes of eye contact, I DID NOTHING. Afterwards she said she was tired so it was time for sleep. We spooned all night but alas spooning was the perviable cherry on the cake.
A week later she hooked up with another guy & since I have been deeper than Fry in the perviable friend zone.
Atleast my hindsight's 20/20 I suppose.
