I am aware of a similar scenario. I didn't go, but my husband did. And the bride was super rude to all the groom's guests at the rehearsal dinner. Wouldn't speak to any of them (I Was there for that part). No one like this woman. And many of the groom's friends and family warned him against marrying her. Which she apparently was aware. Anyway, that night after the rehearsal dinner she got super drunk and went to one of the groom's men's hotel rooms and attacked him for not liking her (ironically). Hitting and punching him, etc.

He still married her the next day. And she stayed with him till he put her through law school then she hooked up with a lawyer at her firm, divorced him, and really screwed him over financially in the process.
