What's your best "...and no one ever found out" story?

In the last few weeks of our freshman year of college, my four friends S, C, M, R and I would go stargazing on the grassy areas of our newly built music center on the other side of campus (about 20 minutes or so, I think). For this night in particular, however, it was a bit chilly so after a while, M and R decided to head on back to the dormitories so it was just me, S and C. S came prepared with a blanket for him and C (To this very day, they’re still together) while I had nothing but my leather jacket. We tried to nap underneath the stars, but the night began to get colder to handle. So at around 3am, we all agree to just walk on back to our dorms. Upon exiting the music center, however, we noticed a golf cart nearby.

S wanted to test out an idea he heard of on how, basically, it was possible to use one of them but with a smaller key. Thanks to his mailbox key, it turns out he was right and decided to just drive around in it a bit. After he had his fun, we proceeded to head on home. However, it wasn’t until we’ve taken 30-40 steps that I decided,

“Y’know what? It IS a pretty long walk home, and we wouldn’t want to catch a cold… and this IS a bit of an emergency so… let’s just borrow the golf cart for a bit.” And so we did.

Frankly, I would have never suggested such an idea because I was too much of a goody-two shoes afraid of getting into trouble but nevertheless: S smiled with glee as well as C as we all headed on back to the golf cart. It was a two-seater with a flatbed, so we had S at the driver’s seat, C riding shotgun, and me at the flatbed. As the engine of this small golf cart echoed through the quiet night of a college campus, we were just filled with absolute excitement and joy as we rode on back home – and when you’re surrounded by people you consider your best friends, you know that such a feeling is practically exhilarating – especially to someone who would never do such a thing (me). Any lingering thoughts I had of running into campus police were quelled when I reassured myself saying that A) We could pretend we actually work for the school, or B) We could just make a run for it. Funny enough, our dorms are right next to the campus police station. We parked the golf cart right nearby the station and, to satisfy my paranoid mind, I asked S to help me with wiping down any traces of fingerprints.

In the end, we never ran into any cops at all and, the morning after, the golf cart was still there.

TL;DR: After stargazing on campus, my friends and I woke up to the cold temperatures of the night and we decided to walk on back to our dorms. Came across a golf cart nearby and decided to use it to get back home safely (We did). The morning after, the golf cart was still in the same spot we left it in – as if nothing were amiss.
