What's your "comfort series" that you watch over and over again?

There's a lot of great stuff past the golden age, and the silver age, and the bronze age.

It's mostly what's in-between that's the issue.

I think it's pretty much exactly like Arrested Development. Early on they had so many jokes and gags they couldn't possibly fit them all into one episode, later on they didn't have to cut shit so all the shit stayed in. Every leftover joke got rolled into another episode.

"Comedy is subjective" is a saying more popular than it is true. That's where the process of cutting becomes so incredibly important.

I would laugh all my tits off if a character encountered a box that was inside out. That's extremely specific to me, but there's room for that if it's just a third of a second and there's no pause for applause, with another joke coming right after.
