What's your deep web story?

You would send X amount in Bitcoin and receive a box. It would take about 3 weeks to arrive, but at some point, I would sell like $300 in stuff a day on CL and then go home, exchange more bitcoin and get more stuff to the point where I was getting a package at least every other day. Sometimes I would get like 30 hats of various NBA teams or something. In that case, I would successfully sell them for like $15 a piece on CL, then the ones nobody would want I would either throw up in a lot on eBay or sell them on CL too. In the example, the 30 hats would cost me like $35. I'd have made that back, plus another $300.

Uggs I think had just started to become really popular where I live, and one time I got like 6 pairs, in 6 different shipments, with boxes and everything. I took one pair to the mall and exchanged them just to see if they would take them. (I got store credit) then I posted them for sale and had the other 5 pairs sold for something like $130-$170 each within an hour. I believe they were being sold for $200+ retail at the time.

I got a bunch of pm's about why I stopped. At the time, I was pretty young and really didn't make much money. When I started selling this stuff, I'd leave the house with like $20 in change and come back with $400 in small bills. Not much to some people, but to me it was like a fortune. I STILL open up books on my bookshelf and find out I put a $100 bill in there. At the time, I couldn't find any information online about "what happens if I get caught selling counterfeits" and a lot of the information was like "YOU GO TO PRISON FOR YEARS." - then I went to an attorney. Probably not the smarted move, might have been the smartest move, and he said "Just stop. The worst thing that could happen is that someone is already watching you and they could build up a case against you selling counterfeit goods, and you could go to prison." It scared me. My last shipment was the 50 P90X DVD's (I'll try to find a picture.) which I think had also just came out. These were selling for over $100 at the time, and I had no problem selling for a little less. At this point, I just wanted to make some money and stop. I would build up this complex itinerary between 3 cities (Cedar Rapids, Quad Cities, and Iowa City) and I would sit at McDonalds and wait for someone when I had to drive across the street to meet someone else at Taco Bell. Sometimes one person would be 30 minutes late, and completely fuck up my itinerary. Then throw in the fear that the next person I sold to MIGHT be an under cover wanting to bust someone for selling fake shit. (Now I know house ridiculous that is.) Or... my next customer was going to rob me, and I'm driving around with $3200 in my car. I don't know, it was a huge cluster fuck. At the end of the night, I was afraid someone was watching me. I was making $20k, or $25k a month when I was used to working my ass off for $9.25/hour in a factory. I was totally waiting for the FBI to come to my door one day.
