What's your favorite conspiracy?

I guess I would just wonder "what misinformation"? I'll admit that I don't know much about pyramid studies or Egyptology but I have to assume that most academic work put out be credible scholars is either a few theories or some less serious "what if's". The only people I've ever heard talk about the pyramids in some conspiratorial fashion are "Ancient Alien" types and people with an agenda. If you Google what was the purpose of the pyramids in ancient Egypt the first thing that comes up is that they were used for religious purposes. Not exactly transmitters for UFOs.
