One time my Dad pulled a gun on me by accident.

When I was little our trailer home was broken in to. I think this really freaked my Dad out and he started to become a total gun nut. To make matters worse eh refused to lock things up. It drove my Mom mad but she was honestly the type to be ultra paranoid in general. She really like to feed into fear and made me think my Dad was going to shoot all of us.

Anyway I had a nightmare and ran into my parents room. My Dad pulled the gun from under his pillow and aimed it at me. I could have been really dead that night if I hadn't shouted at him. My Mom never wanted me to see the fight for some reason so I never know what happened after that but I think the gun was put up.

I got revenge though. We went shooting when I was 1- and I accidentally pointed the gun at my Dad. I was always his favorite soe we went shooting lots after that but it made me realize how easy it was to accidentally kill someone. Since that moment I was always super careful with guns and so was he.
