What's your "fuck, not again" story?

I was house sitting for my parents with my two dogs in Florida and my parents have this 300 yard boardwalk from their backyard to their boat dock which goes through protected vegetation where you can find a bunch of animals. I let the dogs out on morning 1, and found one of my dogs face to face with a raccoon. The raccoon was doing these weird karate-like hand motions and my dog was up on the fence, their snouts were almost touching. I grabbed a broom and called my dog over telling her to please not make me come over there. Thankfully she's a good listener and the problem was solved. I blocked off the boardwalk so she couldn't run down there at night (which is a pain in the ass when she does) and to hopefully keep the raccoon out of the yard. I let the dogs out on morning 2, and the same dog runs to the start of the boardwalk and I see something that looks like the raccoon. I'm thinking, are you kidding me, and I grab my other dog and toss her inside the house (she won't go through the dog door in the screened in yard and waits for me to open the people door, so she's easy to get to). I grab the broom again and yell at my dog to back up and when I get to her, she's face to face with the cutest little husky I've ever seen! Well, I brought my dog in and went back out to see the husky who obviously was terrified of my broom wielding self, and I tried to get close enough to read the tag but he didn't let me come near him. My parents yard has chicken wire along the fence to keep out bunnies but one portion doesn't have any. The dog finally found its way back out and I lost sight of it. I walked around the neighborhood trying to find him but no luck. My parents live at the end of a gated community so I'm not too worried about what happened to the dog, and I assume he just ran home.
