Not so much me, but some former friends of mine. They also got out before anything major went down. We were all living in a student living apartment where they lease by the bed and not by the unit. This was also a fairly expensive student living apartment so one of my friends who was living there couldn't keep up with the bills and was evicted.

So the management found a new roommate to take over the lease. She was in her mid 40's I believe but looked to be closer to 60 and constantly smelled like cat pee. But she seemed nice enough at first. She was going back to school is what she said.

From what my friends told me, she would go days without sleeping, and then sleep for a week, left dishes out for days, and stunk up the whole apartment. She also would invite random guys over without clearing it first. The guys would either be in and out within 2 minutes or hang out with her in her room for several hours. She tried to get one of my friends in particular to hang out with them and do whatever they were doing all the time. She also got really angry at me once because I had given her "a look".

I think after a month in, my friends were able to find out that her parents were footing the bill for the apartment (keep in mind this lady was in her 40's, and they had to have been at least in their 70's) and for her to go to school. We guessed that she was probably on a variety of different drugs and her parents were trying to get her to get her shit together. Fortunately my friends only had a few months left in their lease at that point so they got the fuck outta dodge soon afterwards. No idea what happened with roommate though.

TL;DR: Former friends roomed with sketchy potential drug addict.
