What's your giving philosophy?

I don't donate to charities because I already take care of parents and siblings, which eats up a good chunk of my income. I'm renting a duplex where my mother and sister live on one side, and my fiance and I live on the other. I pay for the rent/groceries for both places, while my mom and sister work and all of their income is their own.

My mom works at the a local retail store and all of her money is going into savings and a ROTH IRA. She's 55 now and I'm hoping that over the next 10 years this will help her in retirement, especially for health care costs.

My sister graduated with massive student loans, and right now she's is paying those off fully, which will take 1-2 more years.

My fiance started her own business and is also doing tutoring on the side. We opted for this instead of a traditional career because she could get health insurance through my work. Right now most of her income is coming from Wyzant tutoring, and her business, which has slowly been increasing in revenue. The goal is that within 3-5 years she will make enough to quit doing Wyzant full time, and switch to her business full time.

I'm currently making just over six figures as a robotics software engineer in a MCOL area, and besides investing/giving to my family, most of my income is going into retirement accounts (HSA, ROTH IRA, and 401k) and anything extra is getting put into a HYSA.

I went to university late and graduated at 28, now 31 and have about a 110k NW, but since I'm taking care of my family the calculations are a bit different since we plan on taking care of each othr long term. My other sister and her husband will likely move in with us, which will cut cost of living in half, and allow us to save even more. On their end they will pay off their debts and on a path to FI.

Long term goal is for my whole family to be FI, including health care costs. Once we can safely reach that goal then I plan on donating all of my income and any extra wealth we generate. I haven't figured out what the best way of doing this is. A foundation? A non-profit? Not sure, but I'm thinking that creating jobs through a non-profit would best benefit the community. I'm thinking of using my free time to create open source software (which I already do), but even more so and start a non-profit robotics org to help out people.

It's still a bit fuzzy, but once we reach FI, there's no point in accumulating any more wealth beyond living a more fat lifestyle, which goes against our values. We'd prefer to share as much as we an and strengthen the local community. I'm feeling uncertain about the future, and reinforcing local community/government seems like a valid strategy to me.
