What's your "I'm not even supposed to be here today" story?

Used to work delivering pizzas, was driving past the store one day around lunch time and figured i'd grab a snack from there and check what time my shift the next day started as I'd accidentally deleted the picture I would take of the schedule each week on my phone.

As I walk in I immediately see that they are rushed off their feet with an extraordinarily unusual amount of orders for a weekday lunch time, the manager sees me and immediately asks me if I can work now but i'm obviously reluctant, I just wanted some food, after he begs for a minute, I agree to do a few deliveries to help out but refuse to change into my uniform to do it, he agrees, so I work out a route I can take and load up 5 or 6 deliveries (normally they only allow 2 per trip, but fuck the rules), made about £5-10 in tips which is more than I could get in a whole evening sometimes, plus the £5-10 for the delivery themselves and my hourly rate, £20-30 was not half bad for an hours work when I wasn't even supposed to be there.
