What's your job and salary

General Manager (Retail) in Ohio. 65k. Bonus potential can double that but I average 30k in yearly bonuses paid quarterly. Bonuses are nice but they can gut that program in a heartbeat whenever they please (and they have before).

Honestly wouldn't recommend. Since the pandemic it has been almost comical how hours are being slashed across the board at stores within my industry and, from what friends tell me, in other retail brick-and-mortar stores too.

For example, my store prior to the pandemic was avg 750 weekly in authorized hours. I do the math, I have the P&Ls, I know we are making more money now than ever before yet hours decline across the board.

I digress.
