What's your "I met a celebrity but didn't let on that I knew who they were" story?

I live in Los Angeles and run into quite a few celebrities and this is what I do almost 100% of the time. Number one, because they're just people and I think they want to be treated like as such/have some anonymity. Number two, because they're actually more likely to engage with you if you don't make a big deal, and then you usually get a great story.

One of my favorites is Aziz Ansari asked if he could take my seat after I was done with it when I was at a bar in New York. We made small talk and he asked me and my friend "Sooo...you ladies hitting the club tonight?" LOL, we were not.

I also hung out with Harry Styles one night, who (as lame as it is, I know I'll get shit for this) I am absolutely batshit crazy for. Like seen him multiple times in concert for absurd amounts of money, folder of pictures of him in my phone, know his birthday and star sign status. I didn't think I'd be able to keep my cool at ALL and to be fair, I probably wasn't very good at hiding how excited I was. But it was a "hanging with mutual friends" situation and I was determined to not make him feel uncomfortable/acknowledge that I was a fan while he was just out having a good time, the same as I was. He actually ended up being very flirty with me, we had some shots together, and I have a "I hung out with a rockstar" story to tell my kids one day.
