This is the only one I really almost truly believe, to an extent.
I think every Bellator matchup has been a throw, 100%. The Tito and Fedor matches just looked like throws, almost no other way to describe them.
The UFC ones are more questionable.
For example, Silva I really looks like a throw. He dominated the entire fight, and tapped really quickly to a triangle that, for one, it looked like he didn't even try to defend; and two, tapped before it even looked fully applied. Just really didn't make much sense.
But here's why I believe it was legit...For someone to throw a fight, one of two things needs to happen: A. The other fighter is in on it, and they do it together; or B. The fighter who throws is so much better than the other, that he can choose to dominate, and then lose whenever he wants...There is no way Silva agreed to A (I assume, realistically, because Chael wasn't as big a name as him, so it makes no sense)...and B. Chael just isn't better than Silva was at that point to beat him up and choose the round to lose whenever he wanted.
So I think it just was a really weird ass ending where Chael panicked being so close to wining, and gave up. He's talked about going to sports psychologists over that; that he always seems to make mistakes right before winning his entire athletic career, like he subconsciously wants to lose.
Then the Jon Jones toe makes really no sense...you can't plan on an absurd accident like that happening. For that to have been a planned throw, Jon would have needed to tear his toe off intentionally...or Chael would have needed to see it, and then throw the fight after he saw it to help Jon win, so the fight didn't get stopped in between rounds; but that just seems really unrealistic.
Again, I do believe he threw the Tito and Fedor fights though, and is just trying to cash in, because he knows at this point, he'll never be a champion.
