Okay so I agree that having a preference for white guys or girls is pretty much a result of media brainwashing. I don’t know if I’d call it inherently racist because... people don’t really ask to be brainwashed like that. They just get blasted with “whites only” appearance and romance standards from a very young age.

But what about having preference for minorities? Or a preference for one minority over another? Or having any of those things while also being a minority?

Are those all okay, or would you still consider them racist? I’m mixed race (black and white) and I have a preference for Southeast Asians. I don’t know if I should call that racist against every other minority including my own. Suppose it could be internalized hatred too?
