What's your opinion on zodiac signs?

It's less about the zodiacs themselves and people who talk about the zodiacs. I fail to see conversations about where the zodiacs came from, and instead, the extent I see is a girl talking about how she broke up with her boyfriend because "Geminis and Libras don't work blah blah blah." I just wanna see conversations about their histories more often. Like I love the stories that I've read. I've come to learn that Scorpio came to be after the Greek Gods summoned a massive scorpion to stop a hunter from uselessly poaching every animal in sight. I've learned that despite depictions of twin girls, Gemini were actually twin boys named Castor and Pollux. While their story has more gross parts, there is a nice family love in the end of their story when Castor, one of the twins born mortal, begins to die. Pollux, not wanting to lose his brother asks Zeus to share his immortality with his brother (Pollux was born immortal). And in the end the two are made immortal in the stars as Gemini. I love love love learning about the origins of the zodiacs, and I always hate to see people just summing them up as stereotypes that define them and their relationships.

Tldr: people compare themselves to zodiacs too much. When can I need out with someone about their history??
