What's your typical profit margin exit point?

That's why I like to do trailing stops with a good % trail, which I adjust depending on my outlook. It lets me take my emotions out of the trading. I was that guy who bought SQ at 20 and sold at 40, same thing with AMD at like $4 and now it's $30, now I'm just sitting here using a calculator thinking about how I could have made like another 60k or some shit. It's whatever though, profits are profits. You can also sell options against your shares if you're into that kind of thing if you want to get out a a defined exit with an extra bit of credit. Selling calls is better for higher IV stocks as you get a higher credit, selling them against stocks like MSFT is pretty lame as you only get a small credit compared to selling them against AMD, SQ, etc
