What's your unpopular opinion about Fresno?

You wanted unpopular so I'll give you unpopular. Fresno's areas of bad crime have been continuously expanding for decades and urban sprawl/white flight has been the response. Now that we have stopped our growth, eventually there will be no areas within the city limits that are free from high crime rates. It will cause higher income folks to leave the city. Many will leave for other states but most will probably go to neighboring cities who will be happy to receive them and their taxable income, such as we are seeing with the growth in Madera along 41. Many of the remaining Fresno residents will not consider this a bad thing because North Fresno is disliked and viewed as home to a snooty population; but it will lead to new struggles and a different look for the city in the coming decades.
