It was a commentary and my opinion, from something that I was taught in the past. I attempted to find sources from when I learned this. Look up "Pseudo-blend acronyms and initialisms". JPEG and my explanation falls under that. I just explained it in a way that was irregular and nearly synonymous with the end result. Even the Wikipedia page has something called, "Pronunciation-dependent style and case" which literally is what I referred too and they give NATO as a reference, which I think is a funny coincidence since I used that exact example.

I believe my commentary and argument for such a viewpoint runs parallel to my statements. Keep in mind my verbiage in my comments. All of them. I even noted I couldn't find sources at the time. I even admitted that I could be wrong, but on logic, English grammar, and some general rules, it all made sense. Literally Socrates did a similar method for understanding controversial topics. Using real life application. Not too far from what I did. I Wasn't out right stating my way was best.
