Omicron is really, really contagious, and cloth masks are proving ineffective against it. Unless you were wearing a sealed, fit-tested N95 mask any time you left the house, it’s impossible to say for sure who infected you.

Also, it’s weird to me you keep saying “supposedly” about this person’s negative rapid tests, both in your post and in comments here. Like you don’t believe them. If you don’t trust someone to tell you the truth about something like this, why are you spending time with them? What have they done to warrant this level of distrust?

Idk, I’m not trying to invalidate you, and I’m sure you’re scared after testing positive. But I really don’t see this as gaslighting. A different risk threshold and some insensitivity on their part, absolutely. But I don’t see anyone trying to manipulate your sense of reality here.
