When have you been discriminated against as a man?

As a single father, a first grade teacher and previously a kindergarten teacher I've had my share of moments in the past. The most painful one happened last weekend.

I took my son to the park, he was in the playground, I was sitting down on the grass. At one point I noticed he was struggling to climb a ladder so I went over and helped him up. The next thing I knew this mother came bolting towards me and screamed "hey you creep what the hell are you doing?"

When I told her he was my son she interrupted me saying "As if, shouldn't his mother be doing this why aren't you at work?" When I told her my occupation she interrupted again saying "Yeah right, I certainly wouldn't you near my kids."

By this point I was infuriated and said "My wife died last year, don't you think it's been hard enough for me as it is?" After that she came bolting towards me and was about to throw a punch, luckily a few parents stepped in and intervened. The whole experience left me angry and shaken. It's amazing how people this moronic still exist.
