When is a colleague's birthday

Obviously the stance is "There is an issue with law enforcement as it exists now" (correct?) to which I can't disagree to. There are plenty of good cops, but I agree there needs to be change (mostly in who is even hired). But then who do you suggest responds to domestic violence calls/issues? Like.. ACTIVE scenarios? I say calls, but would 911 even exist anymore as a # to reach? Who do you suggest handles a public disturbance scenario? Who do you suggest takes care of illegally parked vehicles or people speeding 80mph in a 30 mph zone?

I realize that's a barrage of questions, I'm being sincere in my questions. You may have a legitimate answer, I just want to understand what you would want to see. Would law enforcement still exist, but just be remade somehow to be different somehow? What would you want different? Just no guns and better screening of people hired? I would say all gun laws in that case would need to be changed to prevent people prone to violence from getting guns (which I think should happen regardless. But I also think no one should have a gun in an ideal world. I recognize there are legitimate reasons in todays world for having a weapon, but there are a lot of people who have one who should not)
