I’m an infj. I think we are so socially awkward that we’re always wondering if we are doing it right. We are also very much in our heads, that many of us have been shamed for being too quiet or made to feel that there’s something wrong with us. My intj bf and I can sit in total silence without the other thinking anything of it. There’s a mutual understanding that we are both deep in thought. We can communicate on a deeper level than speaking. It’s called understanding and it’s a beautiful thing. Btw, this makes me think of that scene from Pulp Fiction about uncomfortable silences.
