You have to understand that these people are lonely. Really fucking lonely. That's why I can't and never will look down on someone who does things to emulate not being alone.

It's probably not wise to post this on the internet but I've been dealing with bullying and being an outcast for most of my time in school, which lead to me developing a severe social phobia.

Nothing hurts as much as much being alone. Waking up and knowing that nobody will call you, that nobody will ask to hang out with you, that nobody will surprise visit, that nobody will check up on you, that nobody will come to you, ever.

I once called tech support just to talk to someone. Other people buy a body pillow, some will buy a hooker and some will just live their lifes away day by day.

Having incest fantasies is weird and pretty gross but all in all it's harmless. Knowing where it comes from helps understanding why some people are the way they are.

In the end it's all about forgetting that you're alone for just a little bit, so before shaming someone for what they are please consider that they might just be alone.
