and I don't want exact time, all I want is a sort of idea, but I think you answered it when you said it starts from the start of the design and ends till the end (till pre-production car, I guess?).

just tell me very roughly.

there will be 2 teams, one in-house, and the other team is from another company they are working together for 4 5 something years and have experience in formula one engineering and all.

There is no engineer or transmission, its all-electric, it 4AWD (4-motors), and battery located in 2 parts (in front and at back)

consider the budget for engineering to be 20 to 25 million + 5 million for RND (for small components, and motor and battery are outsourced)

desired time frame is 2.5 years, and use whatever software CTO and other senior will decide (the software will be the best, they can find).

consider workstations to be the best we can find in 5 million budget for computer systems and all.

they will do full time, 8 to 6, and longer if they wish to.

consider the above assumptions and try to make a sort of very rough estimation.

and also, consider the car to be an electric luxury hypercar, limited production (around 50 to 100) priced at 3 million to 4 million each.
