When did you first start listening to Mac?

2 or 3 days ago.

Learned about him from Tame Impala frontman mentioning him being an influence and artist he liked.

Then because of some unfortunate circumstances and a break up, I really opened up to the feeling of his music. Something about it is really cathartic to a young boy like myself.

It makes me rethink the things going on in my life from a new perspective. Idk, in a bizarre way it makes me feel like I'm growing up alright and such, that everything's gonna be okay.

Something about his music is really nostalgic but new at the same time, but has a not pretentious message or sound to it. Lots of influences from time periods of music I always enjoyed and felt like I grew up in the wrong generation (I know that sounds dumb.)

Then just onto his character, there is something so loving and humble about the big guy, just makes you wanna hug him. Idk I can't put my finger on it but he genuinely makes me happy and want to better myself, him and his music. His example.

Seems like an all around awesome guy.

His consistency in his sound and ability to stay interesting across all his albums is astounding to me. It's literally making me entertain the idea of becoming a musician myself.

I always use to think it took so much work and money to be successful, or the right personality. Not saying he doesn't work incredibly hard but just from watching him he makes it look fun, like all the things that I always had worries about, he makes it look like they aren't really an issue.
