The last relationship I ended, my boyfriend was verbally abusive and was starting to scare me. I had made fast friends with a girl I'd met a few months prior and he decided he didn't like her and kept making up really transparent lies about her to try to drive me away from her. When that tactic didn't work, he began attacking me directly and then making vague, dark comments/threats, like, "I can be very evil to my enemies" and "Don't make me hate you." My blood pressure was getting so bad from it all that my doctor insisted on taking it three times to make sure the machine was correct, because it had never been above normal before. I decided this wasn't healthy in any sense of the word, and ended it.
