When did your feeling about "Something is very wrong here." turned out to be true?

I was in my early 20's, dead of winter in upstate NY. I had a lingering cold that I couldn't shake, which was most of every January for me. I had been feeling worse for a couple of days, but it didn't seem like it had progressed into pneumonia or anything. I was at work and suddenly had a pronounced feeling that something was very, very wrong. I started crying hysterically and (uncharacteristically for me at that time) trusted my gut and went immediately to the ER. Turns out I had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in my lung) that could've literally killed me at any moment. The only real symptom I had was the 'feeling of impending doom' that saved me.
