When did your "Something is very wrong here" feeling turned out to be true?

Best friend used to live in a part of town populated by the homeless at night. Never really had a problem until one night. Me and best friend wanted to get some audio for a horror film. We had an idea and walked about 2 minutes from his house. We were recording the audio when out of nowhere a homeless man and his white husky walked up. At first he was very nice and was just wondering what we were doing as we were recording a metal sign flickering in the wind. Then he started talking about people he had lost in the war. How the band Rage Against the Machine had caused the cold war. Gibberish yet making us very uncomfortable. He kept picking up his husky off the ground and making it howl all of it was just too weird. We eventually just backed away gripping out tripods and equipment as to use it for self defense. Slowly walking away but being nice as to not provoke the man. We got back safe. A week later the man slit some dudes throat across the street from where we were at who was also a filmmaker.

P.s. They eventually found his dog, not with him and the community found it a loving home.
